Stop The Robbery

UN Women #StopTheRobbery Activation

Globally, women still make 23% less than men. At current rates it would take 70 years to close that pay gap.

To highlight this issue, we created a Twitter campaign that would "rob" your tweets— blacking out 23% of the (at-the-time) 140 characters to create a jarring visual representation of the problem. We also shot a social experiment and launched it all at the UN General Assembly with Abby Wambach & Patricia Arquette.

Globally, women only make 77 cents for every dollar earned by men, effectively being "robbed". Join UN Women's #stoptherobbery campaign to help stop the biggest robbery in history and raise awareness of the global gender pay gap: https://23percentrobbery.com
